Training and support materials from IET

The Inspec database from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), offers comprehensive scientific and engineering information. The IET Digital Library holds more than 80,000 technical papers from all IET journals, magazines, conference publications and seminar digests. In addition, the IET have a range of training slides and user guides for various service providers about Inspec and the IET Digital Library. Also, there is a range of posters, flyers and other freebies that can be used to promote the databases within libraries.

IET offers a range of training options. These can be delivered to train individual librarians, groups of librarians, or faculty staff/researchers. The training can be tailored to the needs of the trainees. It normally comprises an overview of the database and some search examples.
