Eduserv is pleased to announce a new Chest Agreement for the Emerald Engineering library that enables you to secure valuable engineering resources at a significantly discounted price from January 2009.

The Emerald Engineering library is a self-contained collection of 16 peer-reviewed journals covering four major areas of engineering and technology: advanced automation, computational mathematics, electronics manufacture and packaging, and materials science and engineering. The online database is fully searchable and provides over 7,000 full text articles.

Many of the titles are internationally recognised as leading journals in their field; 14 of them will have Thomson Reuters (ISI) impact factors, considered a measure of the importance of a journal in its field. Examples include;

• Rapid Prototyping Journal
• Engineering Computations
• Soldering & Surface Mount technology
• International Journal of Clothing Science & technology and
• Kybernetes, the international journal of cybernetics, systems and management sciences.

The journals, in addition to research papers, include the latest news about industry, new products and forthcoming events.

In 2009 the library costs just £999 plus VAT for an annual site licence subscription.
