About the Institution Area

If your institution has a Chest Agreement with Eduserv, you can now log in to this website to view your subscriptions, order Agreements and manage your preferences.

This area is designed for institution staff only, students please talk to your library or computer services for more information about Agreements they have with Eduserv.

When registering with the site you'll need to verify your email address and choose your preferred method of authentication - whether you want to use an existing Athens or institution log-in, or set up a unique username and password for this site.

If you are a Software or Data contact, you won't need to approve your account - after registering your email address and choosing your authentication method, you can sign in straightaway. If you're not a Software or Data Contact, you'll need approval from your Institution's Software or Data contacts.

Follow these steps to get started.

IF YOU ARE A SOFTWARE OR DATA CONTACT

1. Visit the ‘Register’ page and enter your email address – preferably your institution email address rather than a webmail account, as this makes it easier for us to identify you.

2. Check your inbox – you should have received an email request to confirm your email address, along with a validation code. Click on the link and you’ll be taken to a page where you can confirm your details, enter your code and choose your method of authentication.

You can use an Athens username and password, your institution username and password or set up a new username and password specifically for this site.

3. As a Software or Data contact you are now ready to use the site – your account does not need approval - and you can visit the Sign in page to log in with your chosen username and password.

4. As the Software or Data contact for your institution, you will need to approve other users from your institution who would like to use the site. When they register, you’ll receive an email asking you to log-in and approve their access status. Clicking on the link in that email takes you to the Approve Users screen (you may be asked to log in if you are not already).

To approve, click 'select' next to an individual's name and choose 'approve' or 'remove'.

IF YOU ARE ANOTHER USER FROM AN INSTITUTION

You can register to use this site to find out which products your institution has bought or subscribed to through Eduserv's Chest Agreements. You can also make a request for a new product through the Wishlist.

Your request to access the site will need to be approved by your institution's Software or Data contact.
