Eligibility for Eduserv Chest Agreements

Eduserv's Licence Negotiation Services team works primarily on behalf of Higher and Further Education Institutions (or 'sites') in the UK, as defined by the Higher Education Funding Councils and other funding bodies, to agree Chest Agreements for licences with Data and Software providers. However, wherever possible Agreements are made available to the wider community in the UK and abroad.

All UK Higher Education Institutions and Research Councils may participate in these Agreements and most have been negotiated so that UK Further Education Institutions and third level colleges in the Republic of Ireland may participate.

If your organisation is significantly engaged in teaching and/or research, supports Higher and/or Further Education, is wholly resident in the UK and is not-for-profit then we may be able to accept you as an Associate Member – please visit the Associate Sites page for more information.
