Product description

The Compendex® database covers over 10 million records from more than 5,600 scholarly journals, trade magazines and conference proceedings from 1969 to the present date.  It is the most comprehensive interdisciplinary literature database available in the field of engineering.  The database contains journal articles, conference papers and other documents in all fields of engineering: civil, mining, electrical, mechanical and chemical. The Engineering Index Backfile with coverage from 1969 to 1884 is also available under this agreement.

Benefits of this Agreement

• Five year agreement with options for 1 year licence, 3 year licence, or five year licence.  All 3 year licences end 7 December 2011.  All 5 year licences end 7 December 2013.
• Pro-rata charging (monthly) for sites licensed partway through year.
• Product supplied and provided by Elsevier.
